Building A Porch Swing
Nothing says “I’m lazy today and I don’t care who knows it” quite like sitting on a porch swing with a good book. And really, you deserve a break, don’t you? Let the world know it.
This porch swing really is fun to build, and believe it or not, it’s comfy. I’ve sat in quite a few that weren’t, so I know of what I speak. Since we used pressure-treated southern pine, it’s perfectly suited to the elements – leave it out in the great wide-open or shelter it on a porch. Oh, and you can make it longer or shorter, taller or wider – the power is in your hands (and your tools). What are you waiting for?
